The Degree Course in Economics and Business Analytics aims to satisfy the increased demand for professional profiles characterized by skills in the analysis and management of the dynamics linked to the process of digitalisation and internationalization of economic activities. The training activities of the CdS involve the following subject areas:- economic area;- business area;- statistical area - mathematics;- computer area;- legal area. The training activities of the economic area concern the conceptual and applied bases for the study of the Economy of Information and Communication Technology and for the activity of the digital sectors and economic markets, aimed at full understanding of the competitive dynamics and innovation peculiar to these areas. The training activities of the company area are aimed at providing knowledge and skills on the application and use of information, big data and data analysis in corporate governance and management processes, such as: strategic analysis, strategic planning, information systems for business decisions, performance measurement and management of marketing activities on digital channels. The educational activities of the statistical-mathematical area concern the methodological and applicative bases for the acquisition and statistical-mathematical attention of economic and business data (for example, data analysis, data mining, machine learning, visual analysis, Text analytics , analysis of historical series, analysis of spatial series) with particular reference to the study of big data.The training activities of the IT area concern the acquisition and activity of databases, the fundamentals of big data (non-relational databases, paradigm / reduction map and software for data exchanges) and the principles of information security applied to networks and data. The training activities of the legal area involved offer the bases for the study of IT processes that regulate the transactions on the financial markets, the innovative techniques of business financing, the exchange of knowledge to understand legal problems posed by the collection, by the interconnection and use of large amounts of data, with particular regard to privacy, legal nature and ownership of data, service supply contracts and telematic civil liability.Within the teachings great attention will be given to applications through practical exercises and / or case study events. The training course is aimed at maintaining a close connection with the working environment. The Course is to complete, with a compulsory internship and a final exam.
