The course will focus on the object and purpose of moral philosophy; various competing moral theories, from ancient to contemporary times, will be discussed.
A work by Hannah Arendt, containing his lessons at the New York School for Social Research (1965-1966), will be examined, devoting special attention to what she has affirmed concerning the problem of evil.
