Contents Text and image: issues and forms of the discourse on art from Antiquity to Humanism
The course will examine the tradition of the writings on art from the beginning in the Greek world to Vasari, pointing out the elements of continuity and the factors of innovation before the conscious humanistic renaissance of the art criticism developed in the classical world.
