As there is an exam of the first year, a basic scholastic knowledge of history and art relating to the periods covered in the lessons of the course, is required as a minimum.

Teaching Methods The lectures will be supplemented by exercises both inside and outside of the classroom. Students will have the opportunity to meet with the teacher both through direct contact in the classroom, during office hours, as well as online via the latest electronic devices.
Evaluation methods Verification of learning:
The end of course exam will be conducted as an oral interview for which the student will be required to have learned the basics as taught by the teacher. There will also be ongoing assessment of the preliminary exercises both in and out of the classroom.
