Objectives
Contents Most of the program of the course of Emergency in obstrectics and gynaecology is dedicated to the obstetric emergencies: the emergencies that can complicate the medical pathologies of pregnancy (diabetes, hypertension) and the obstetric emergencies of the three trimesters of pregnancy, labor, delivery and puerperium will be treated. The main gynecological emergencies will also be treated, with particular attention to the differential diagnosis.

• Genital bleeding
• Gynecological causes of acute abdomen (ovarian cyst torsion, haemorrhagic corpus luteum, pelvic inflammatory disease, endometriosis)
OSTETRICIA
• First trimester hemorrhages: ectopic pregnancy, abortion, trophoblast pathology
• Third trimester hemorrhages: placenta previa, placenta detachment
• Preeclampsia
• Diabetic ketoacidosis
• Acute CTG alterations
• Shoulder dystocia
• Postpartum hemorrhages
• Vaginal operative birth (forceps, suction cup)
