The course aims to provide the student with the theoretical and practical tools in order to make her/him able a) to carry out the neuropsychological assessment of patients with acquired neuropsychological deficits and b) to plan an ad hoc rehabilitation intervention.
Specifically, after a brief historical introduction to neuropsychological rehabilitation, we will proceed with a reasoned review of the tools (clinical and psychometric) useful for the evaluation of the individuals with acquired neuropsychological disorders, to finally arrive at the planning of rehabilitation interventions: the available tools will be examined and, above all, we will try to promote in the student the ability to build ad hoc rehabilitation tools/exercises with the help of exemplary clinical cases.
