The objectives of the course are threefold. First of all, the course aims at equipping the student with a solid theoretical apparatus, acquiring the main theoretical and conceptual models related to the training and growth of individuals both in the professional field and more generally in the social and community field, understanding the complex dynamics between personal, emotional, motivational, cultural and economic factors in the definition of adult learning projects. The second objective is to deepen the development, epistemology and potentiality of the construct of empowerment by experimenting, also through active methodologies, the fundamentals of processes and personal, relational and organizational implications of this approach of possibility and empowerment. The third objective, finally, is to socialize the student to a wealth of methodologies and tools useful to design training courses "tailored" aimed at empowerment, change and well-being of individuals and productive realities.
The course contributes to the realization of the educational objectives of the course of study in Psychology by providing the tools for the understanding of the theoretical and methodological foundations underlying the training activities and empowerment in organizations.
D1: knowledge and understanding skills
At the end of the course you must have acquired knowledge and understanding of the use of techniques of analysis, design, delivery and measurement of a training intervention, have acquired the ability to develop and apply original ideas, even in a context of research, in the field of training and empowerment of adults and have acquired the ability to understand the methods of intervention most frequently used in organizations.
D2: Ability to apply knowledge and understanding
At the end of the course you will have acquired the ability to integrate knowledge and manage complexity in the management of training actions to transform and strengthen individuals, groups and businesses.

Methods of Provision
Teaching Methods Lectures. Analog Simulations. Exercises. Discussions. Cases and testimonials of relevant business realities. Design, implementation and presentation of small transformative interventions in the local organizational context.
The Teaching is structured in 48 hours of frontal teaching, divided into lessons of 2 and 3 hours, twice a week, according to the academic calendar. Attendance is optional, but given the complexity and generativity of the topics covered, it is strongly recommended to attend the course.
During the course, 16 hours of practical guided exercises (EPG) are also planned to consolidate the theoretical knowledge acquired. Attendance is not compulsory, however, given the added value of active experience for a solid internalization of the topics covered, it is suggested that the course be attended.
Evaluation methods Verification of learning:
The examination is based on a written test that will take place on the date set by the secretariat and consists of the verification of knowledge through three open questions aimed at measuring the specific achievement of the different educational objectives of the course. The final grade will be in thirtieths.
For students who have attended the EPG, the test takes place in the form of an oral interview on the topics of the course (educational objectives 1-3); during the interview the student will also prove to be able to design and present an original targeted educational intervention.
The final grade in thirtieths will be calculated by attributing 70% to the knowledge of the course topics and 30% to the originality and appropriateness of the project carried out during the practical exercises.
