This teaching contributes to achieving the educational objective of the Masters’ degree course in Philosophy and in particular of the course in Human Resources Management, supplying students with the competence necessary to help them fit in with different business systems, filling high-level positions based within the human resource department.
The human factor is the resource which makes the difference as to the development and the very survival of companies operating in an increasingly competitive context. The teaching aims to meet this requirement, offering students concepts which favour the acquisition of targeted competences with the view to a dynamic management which can develop human resources. At the end of the course the student will reach the following objectives according to:
Knowledge and Comprehension skills:
­ to identify the various managing models concerning human resources;
­ to describe the selection, evaluation, teaching and reward systems of Human Resources;
­ to support a strategic management of human resources;
­ to manage the relationships between individual and organization;
­ to identify instruments, practices, and behaviours which affect people;
­ to describe the systems which rule the labour relations.
Autonomous assessment:
­ to make use of the acquired knowledge to carry out autonomous research concerning issues linked to the management of Human resources;
­ to apply one’s knowledge properly according to the needs of the human resources’ management.
Communication Skills
­ to use business lexicon in the definition of the policies and employees’ managing tools;
­ to take part in the solution of problems connected with the management and development of human resources in companies.
