The course is divided into two parts.
- Part I (40 hours): will illustrate the main methods and features of Latin Mediaeval and Humanistic Philology (6th-16th centuries).
- Part II (23 hours): analysis of Petrarch's letter written to Giovanni Boccaccio; students will be encouraged to take an active part in the lessons.
