Prerequisites:

Anatomical knowledge of the main organs and systems of the human body with particular reference to the functional anatomy of the apparatuses involved in motor and sports activity also in reference to age (children, adults, elderly).

Objectives

The acquisition of anatomo-functional principles of advanced level to acquire the skills to operate in the field of motor activities for recreational, socialization, prevention, maintenance and recovery of the best physical efficiency in different ages.
In particular, based on the main stages of human development and the operational methods necessary to design and evaluate interventions on subjects in different environments (work and sport), attention will be focused on the physiological anatomical bases of the systems that regulate the equilibrium and the posture, organic homeostasis, biological rhythms, adaptations.

Extended Syllabus

External, middle, internal ear. Vestibular system. Vestibular pathways and reflexes.
- Autonomous Nervous System
- Hypothalamus
Morphology; Organization in nuclei; Afferent and efferent pathways; Function and integration with the autonomic nervous system
- Anatomical changes related to pregnancy
Anatomy of the uterus; musculoskeletal modifications (joints of the lower limb, the spine, the scapular girdle, the ribs, the diaphragm and the anterior-lateral wall of the abdomen). Cardiovascular and respiratory changes
- Anatomical changes related to obesity:
joint changes in the lower limb, spine, cardiovascular and respiratory changes
- Skeletal muscle changes in the elderly subject. Motor activity in the elderly
- Thorax muscles and respiratory mechanics.

Verification of learning:

The examination is aimed at ensuring that the student knows and is able to describe the structural organization of the human body and the structure-function relationships with language properties, with particular reference to the systems involved in motor activities.
Written test on the Respondus platform: Written test with multiple choice each with 31 quizzes in sequential mode (4 possible answers with only one correct, 30 minutes of time available). Whose vote is expressed out of thirty
In the event that you are in a health emergency, the examination will take place according to the methods and platform indicated by the University (Team or similar).

Quiz evaluation: 1 point for each correct answer; 0 points for wrong answers 0 not given.

The examination procedures are the same for attending and non-attending students.
