Contents The course aims to provide the basis for understanding the link between the environment and human health.
Extended Syllabus Socio-environmental analysis of living and working communities.
Analysis and evaluation of environmental situations in relation to the health of the individual and the community.
Analysis and evaluation of the social characteristics of the environment and of the territory relevant to the health of the individual and the community.
The system of determinants of the state of health of the population and the diseases related to these determinants.
Interventions to contrast these determinants.
Interventions to combat health risk factors.
The LEA system for collective assistance.
Design, implementation and evaluation of environmental education intervention plans, risk prevention and containment, health education, counseling and screening campaigns

Teaching Methods The teaching is structured in frontal lessons according to the educational calendar. The lessons foresee a strong interactive component between Teacher and Students.

Evaluation methods Verification of learning:
Oral exam: the student must demonstrate his / her preparation by clearly and organized discussing the topics requested by the teacher.
The evaluation will be carried out using marks out of thirty.
