Teaching Methods The course is structured in 40 hours of frontal teaching,.divided into 2 hours lessons according to the academic calendar. The frontal teaching consists of theoretical lessons and examples of practical applications.
Evaluation methods Verification of learning:
The student preparation will be verified with a written test and an oral exam.
The written test lasts 2 hours and consists of 3 exercises (2 problems of the APPLIED PHYSICS module and 1 of Electromagnetism). It aims to verify the ability to solve simple problems in classical physics.
The written and oral parts will be carried out on different days, to allow the teacher to evaluate the written test with a score between 0 and 30 (20 for Applied Physics and 10 for Electromagnetism). It is possible to take the oral part having obtained at least 15 points to the written one.
The oral exam aims to verify the knowledge and understanding of arguments covered during the course and present in the programs.
The oral part can add up to 6 points to the written one.
Contacts/More Information Support activities: hours of practice (exercises) can be provided during the course.
