Contents The program focuses mainly on the perinatal history; the main perinatal pathologies (gestational diabetes, hypertension, intrauterine growth retardation); congenital sepsis; perinatal asphyxia and hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy; the premature newborn; neurological follow-up; the quality of neonatal general movements by discussing clinical cases

Teaching Methods The teaching is structured in 30 hours of frontal teaching, divided into lessons of 2, 3 or 4 hours according to the academic calendar. The frontal teaching consists of theoretical lessons and seminars held by experts on the topics covered as well as
video projections,
discussion of clinical cases, division of learners into working groups with PBL method (problem based learning)
Attendance is expected for at least 75% of the teaching activity.
Evaluation methods Verification of learning:
The verification of the students' preparation will take place by carrying out an oral test aimed at ascertaining the successful learning, conceptual mastery, language properties as well as the ability to interpret and synthesise the acquired medical knowledge.
