Objectives
Contents Presentation of theories and techniques for the rehabilitation of subjects affected by oral and written language disorders in childhood, in order to implement a treatment plan.
Extended Syllabus - Primary and secondary language disorders: definitions and clinical criteria for their classification;
- Indirect language therapy with parents’ involvement (parent training e parent coaching);
- "Interact" and "Beyond the book": presentation of methodologies;
- The treatment plan;
- Language therapy in specific language impairment;
- The treatment for articulation and phonological, lexical-semantic, morphosyntactic and pragmatic disorders;
- The treatment for developmental language disorders secondary to hearing impairment and cranio-facial anomalies;
- The treatment for developmental language disorders secondary to intellectual disability (Down S., Williams S);
- The treatment for pediatric dysphonia;
- The use od AAC for developmental language disorders.

The level of learning achieved will be evaluated with a final exam consisting of an oral and/or written test aimed to ascertain the standard of knowledge reached on the theoretical contents indicated in the program.
