Contents Know the methods and tools in nursing responsibility in treating, caring for and assisting the person.
-Know the regulatory references underlying the professional responsibility of the nurse
-The ethical codes, with particular reference to the contents of the Nurse's Code of Ethics (OPI and ICN): analysis of values and principles, their meaning in clinical practice.
Extended Syllabus - Ethics, bioethics and deontology: the code of ethics of the nurse and other professionals;
- formation of an ethical conscience; professionalism, competence and responsibility.
- Ethical problems related to the beginning of life: medically assisted procreation; abortion; conscientious objection.
- Ethical problems related to the end of life: death and the ethics of accompaniment; euthanasia. –
Ethics in pharmacological research and testing.
- Organ donation from a bioethical point of view.
- Ethics of multicultural assistance.

Teaching Methods The course will be carried out through interactive frontal lessons with the aid of material in Power Point files for a total of 15 hours. In order to complete the frontal teaching activity, students will be able to improve their theoretical training through experiences in the U.O.

The learning assessment is based on an oral test. The evaluation is expressed in thirtieths. In determining the order in which students must be examined, particular account will be taken of the specific needs of working students.
