Objectives Contents To Provide to student information on the main surgical techniques of concomitant strabismus, on the indication, and on surgical assistance.
Extended Syllabus Muscle strengthening techniques: resection, plating, advancement. Weakening techniques: recession, faden. Surgery of the rectus muscles and oblique muscles. Surgical instrumentation, preparation of the operating table, principles of anesthetic techniques. Major and minor complications of strabismus surgery.
