Objectives Contents Theoretical and practical notions on tonometry in its various techniques, pachymetry, gonioscopy, computerized visual field examination, OCT of the RNFL and the ganglion complex, confocal microscopy and ASOCT.
Extended Syllabus Physical principles and tonometric execution techniques (APL/NCT/SCHIOTZ tonometry, PASCAL) glaucoma tonometry correlations; pachymetric techniques and correlations with glaucoma; execution of gonioscopy and indications in clinical practice; interpretation of printouts and use in clinical practice of visual field examination (24-2, 30-2) and OCT (Oct Fiber and GCC) in the diagnosis and follow-up of patients with glaucoma; principles of application of HIGH TECH imaging in the surgical pathology of glaucoma.
