Objectives

- being able to recognize alterations in binocular vision*
- knowledge and execution of instrumental semiotics relating to strabismus, glaucoma, corneal and lens pathologies

- orthoptic visit monocular, binocular and prismatic cover test
- stereoscopic tests
- binocular vision test
- prismatic lenses
- orthoptic exercises of fusion, convergence and dissociation
- classification, diagnosis and therapy of exodeviations, exodeviations
- vertical strabismus
- classification, diagnosis and therapy of amblyopia
- visual field and artefact programs - perimetric indices
- tonometry (types-advantages and disadvantages)
- test for contrast sensitivity and test for chromatic sense
