Objectives
Contents The course provides students with the knowledge of the theoretical bases of typical language and cognitive development, focusing on signs and symptoms that characterize communication, speech, and language.
Extended Syllabus - Signs and symptoms in semiotics
- Stages of language development, components of language and processes of language comprehension and production.
- Signs, symptoms identification and risk factors associated with language development disorders in the ages: 0-3 and 3-6.
- Stages of cognitive development.
