The teaching contributes to the realization of the educational objectives of the course of study in Psychology by providing students with application skills for the assessment of skills in developmental psychology.
At the end of the course the student must have acquired:
- knowledge of job opportunities for developmental psychologists
- knowledge and ability to administer the main tests for evaluating socio-emotional child's skills.
-knowledge on conducting interviews with children and parents
- ability to apply the knowledge acquired by being able to administer, analyze and comment on tests relating to the evaluation of the child's of socio-emotional adaptation and behavioral problems in a clear and unambiguous way.
- understanding of the main support interventions relating to the child's linguistic development and learning.
- ability to integrate knowledge and manage complexity in the evaluation of developmental skills.
- ability to use the technical language of developmental psychology to write a report.
