The course's main aim is to provide the student with the theoretical and pratical knowledge about cognitive evaluation in clinical practice, the cognitive deficit profile and the use of cognitive evalutaion in rehabilitation.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES: the course, as part of the general learning objectives of the CdS, aims to stimulate and guide the application of the advanced knowledge about cognitive evaluation, even in relation to new theoretical approaches that guide research in the field.
EXPECTED LEARNING RESULTS:
At the end of the course students should be able to:
- recognize and apply the principal theories behind cognitive evaluation and the relation between them, describe recent orientations in cognitive evaluation.
- elaborate and integrate knowledge of cognitive deficit profile and develop new analytical ponts of view;
- interpret clinical and experimental protocols used for the study of cognitive deficit;
- communicate in a clear and unambiguous way their knowledge of cognitive deficit and use the technical language of cognitive evaluation;
- deepen topics of interest in their own way.
