Contents The "Business Plan, Business Model and Open Innovation" course aims to provides deeep knowledge on the contribution of the business tools in the management of the business Start-up phase.
In particular, the course will focus on the following macro-themes:
- Fundamentals of Business Economics (Concept of business and business management);
- Fundamentals of analysis of the financial statements;
- Analysis of the Business Plan and the Business Model in the company Start-up phase;
- The characteristics and role of innovative Start-ups;
- Theory and Tools of Open Innovation.

Methods of Provision
Teaching Methods The course is structured in 48 hours of frontal teaching, divided into and 3 hours lessons, thrice a week, according to the academic calendar. Different and synergistic teaching methods will be adopted:
Classroom lessons, exercises, simulations, individual and group projects, reports.
Evaluation methods Verification of learning:
The final exam will consist of an oral examination. The colloquia will consist in a discussion of a project-work and/or a general oral examination.
The examination will assess all of the topics to which students will be introduced through frontal lessons and exercises. A thorough study of the recommended readings is also an integral part of the activity. The final mark will be expressed in grades out of thirties.
