Objectives

-The course aims to provide knowledge and skills related to management
and administrative characteristics of the different components of the nonprofit sector and social enterprises. In particular, the course aims at
provifding to students knowledge and skills in terms of institutional structure, organization and management as well as key variables and
critical success factors concerning the reality of the non-profit Sector in general and social enterprises in particular

- Institutional classification, composition and evolution of the non-profit
sector
- Classifications and theoretical approaches at international level
- Commercial activity in the social field: social enterprises
- Planning, management control in non-profit organizations and social
enterprises
- Activities and tools for fund raising
- Activities of internal and external communication and related
communication strategies
- Budget and taxation in non-profit organizations and social enterprises

Teaching Methods

Together with the 'classic' form of lectures, aimed at providing knowledge
with regard to the non-profit sector, it will also given the possibility to
study different realities through case studies in
order to provide guidance and expertise for the management of various
realities belonging to this sector
