Institutional module 1 (= 6 CFU): Basic module, based mainly on the analysis of a series of passages by Greek authors. The most relevant testimonies on the complex network of marriage alliances between the great tyrannical dynasties of Sicily and on the dynamics of relations within the families of the Dinomenides and Emmenids will be analyzed.
