Objectives

To acquire instruments on how identity and sexual identity is formed; how the corporal image is formed. Sexual identity and gender formation in-between natura and culture. Mind-body-brain and intergenerational formation of identity, with neurobiological, neuroscientific and psychoanalytic notions and dynamics. Affect regualtion and affect dysregualtion in eating disorders and other addictions and attacks onto the body. How the body image is formed.\gender identity, gender dysforia and sexual position. How the contemporary therapist should be tuned with sexual differencies and multiple identifications. Contemporary eating disorders and thei psychodyynamics (anorexia, bulimia). Dissociation and trauma.

Contents

The body as an entity between nature and culture (on within the epigenetici currents). Body as relational testimony (Lemma) and crossing of interpersnal and intergenerational transmission and exchanges. Imaginary implants. attachmetn realtionhsip as inscribed in the body and the image of oneself and one's own self-esteem: mirroring and formation of body image through the gaze of the otheri. Cultural inscriptions. Formation of identity, withing mind-body-psyche and sexual identity, orientation and identification; gender positions as culturally and family inscriptions. The body as recipients of the attacks due to identification with an aggressor in personality disorders; self attacks and attacks onto the body; eating disorders; disfunctions of body image: some notions on perversions.

Extended Syllabus

All the chapter in Lemma's Under the Skin will be carefully analysed. Hilde Bruch The Golden Cage. Tubert, chapters on Freud, Lacan and sexuality and femininity. Affect dysregulation and attacks onto the body (self-cutting, self-harm); sexuality , gender, gender disforia in DSM 5 and in contemporary society. The transexual body and how identity is formed intergerationally, eating disorders as attachment problems and affect dysregulation modalities.
