Summary of Programme
(subdivided into the various modules where appropriate)
Module 1 (= 6 ECTS) Poggio Bracciolini, Historia disceptativa tripartita convivalis. Disceptationes 1 e 2
Written in 1450, this dialogue debates three different questions (disceptationes) that characterize the culture of the Humanistic age. In this module the first two will be examined: 1 which of the two, who invited or who has been invited, should thank the other for an offered lunch; 2 whether civil law is more noble and useful than medicine.
