EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES With reference to the general higher education objectives of the Master's Degree Course, we propose to face with the participants a new interpretative point of view on the theme of company management. In particular, students will be offered a complex point of view of the business reality with the aim of providing basic tools that encourage a better and more advanced ability to understand and interpret business facts: no longer exclusively centered on the person and the binomial linear cause-effect but on non-linear dynamics based on the development of relationships between people and between people and the environment within which they act. This vision of complexity of business activities favors the emergence of an approach oriented towards exploration, innovation and decision-making autonomy required by the most recent surveys of the World Economic Forum: complex problem solving, critical thinking and creativity.
EXPECTED LEARNING RESULTS At the end of the course, students will have knowledge of the functioning of complex systems, their distinctive characteristics and the management principles that allow them to effectively deal with CES - Complex Evolutive Systems. Organizations are complex systems that are unpredictable and generate constraints and possibilities. Knowledge of complex systems and above all the ability to understand how to deal with their evolution generates a competitive advantage for participants respect of their competitors on the labor market.
WHICH COMPETENCES At the end of the course, students will have gained a good ability to recognize complex systems both in private and at work and that can favor a distinctive and privileged positioning in the assessment and recruiting processes.
