Written exam including 9 questions. The first question is always a manual computation of a logarithm. This question is penalizing for the final score by three points. On the contrary an exact answer does not increase the final score. The other questions concern both theoretical and applied topics. The lenght of the exam is 1 hour and 10 minutes. The questions are aimed at ascertaining the logical-deductive reasoning and calculation skills developed by the student. The test is considered sufficient (18/30) if the student completely answers 4 questions and performs correctly the computation of the logarithm. Each additional complete answer gives 3 points more to the final score. 30 with honors is awarded if all the answers are correct and at leasts one is particularly elegant. All intermediate cases follow quite naturally.
Eventually, in the case of the general situation allows that, two or three in itinere tests (depending on the results of the admitting test) are foreseen. Each of them has the structure above described. The final score is given by the average of the in itinere tests, provided a sufficient result in each of them.
