The course contributes to the achievement of the educational objectives of the Master's degree course in Psychology by providing students with the tools to understand the relationship between mind, brain and behaviour in atypical populations, i.e. in populations that have suffered brain damage.
Students should be able to demonstrate that they have acquired:
1) knowledge and understanding of the methodological and ethical foundations of neuropsychological assessment;
2) knowledge and understanding of the methods of assessment of neuropsychological disorders in the course programme;
3) knowledge and understanding of the principles underlying neuropsychological rehabilitation;
4) ability to develop original ideas about how certain neuropsychological disorders might be rehabilitated;
5) ability to link and integrate different knowledge;
6) ability to communicate acquired knowledge clearly and using the disciplinary vocabulary.
