Objectives

Provide the fundamental tools for the knowledge of the principles of stomatological ergonomics, of the operating positions and of the instruments

Contents

Know the notions of dental anatomy and morphology with particular regard to periodontal anatomy; know the principles of microbiology of the oral cavity, the mechanisms of formation of soft and hard deposits and the mechanisms of periodontal disease associated with plaque

- Postural problems;
- New support technologies;
- Muscle pathologies;
- Support instrumentation and review of the topics covered;
- Anamnesis and first visit: RX;

- Instruments and extrinsic pigmentations;
- Root furcations: instrumentation;
- Professional hygiene techniques;
- Non-surgical periodontal therapy;
- Peri-implantitis and professional treatment.
