As a prerequisite, the student is asked to have achieved the French Language (6cfu) suitability at the first level degree course.
The educational offer of the applied scientific French course has the aim of perfecting and completing the B2 communication skills - according to the parameters defined by the CEFR (the above level has partly already achieved in the first level degree course) as regards writing and oral production on the topics related to the course of study. As a matter of fact, the course aims to develop the ability to use French language in specific professional contexts, allowing written and oral production skills to be acquired in order to allow the student to express himself or herself strait to the topics of the micro-language, specific to the sociological and criminological areas.
The expected final results are defined starting from the parameters indicated by the five Dublin descriptors and based on the indications provided by the CEFR for the B2 level. Knowledge and understanding: At the end of the course, the student is expected to a master good knowledge of French and thematic linguistic sphere of the course and develop the ability to understand authentic written and oral documents of a certain length taken from newspapers, television broadcasts and any other online materials, etc. Ability to apply knowledge and understanding: Thanks to the educational activities carried out during the course, the student must be able to apply knowledge learned together with the ability to understand as well as being able to manage the communication in a clear and appropriate language to transmit and exhibit contents in oral form. Making judgments: At the end of the course, the student has to demonstrate that he has developed critical skills that enable him to analyze authentic documents inherent to the contents learned, to explain the concepts that emerged and to express his point of view. Communication skills: At the end of the course, the student will acquire the communication skills prescribed by the CEFR for level B2, or know how to make use of all the language skills to discuss detailed information on written texts and oral discourses related to concrete or abstract topics and express themselves clearly in the areas defined in the contents. Learning skills: At the end of the learning process, the student will be able to develop his own study method to understand the contents dealt with during the course and evaluate his own learning level in relation to the objectives set for the B2 level.
Learning French language for the Degree Course in Social Research, Security and Crime Politics, includes content concerning both the micro-language and the specific aspects of the course. In fact the topics will be: Le Le Système carcéral français (Le travail comme outils de réinsertion sociale), ed argomenti più ampi visti da un punto di vista di Déviance e Criminalité : la prévention du rime et la victimologie; la société avant et après la pandémie. The study of these themes will allow not only the development of linguistic and lexical functions but also the structures that allow to reach the degree of competence defined as Level B2 by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. In additional, by improving, the level already gained during the first level degree course, and at the same time, by learning new skills such as written and oral production.

The course aims to develop the ability to use French language in specific professional contexts, acquiring oral production skills to allow students to express themselves articulated on topics of the micro-language specific to sociological and criminological fields, skills linguistic skills needed to communicate, understand and speak about issues concerning specific areas of the course of study.
The exam (3 credits) consists of: an oral test based on topics taken from studied material included the video realia present on the website of the French language. access to the exam: Those who have obtained international certifications (Chambre de Commerce de Paris, Dalf, Delf, etc.) can, based on the level reached, defined according to the parameters of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, take the exam only partly or directly acquire the credits. Those who already have the required skills can take the exam directly (attendance is not mandatory). Those who have followed the course may face the exam using the benefit acquired with the work carried out: steady attendance (checked by collecting students’ signatures). The course lasts 24 hours within 12 weeks. Teaching: The teaching material used in the classroom must be downloaded from this site: www.ch.unich.it/economia/francese The preparation includes weekly oral production exercises. The parameter of the course is based on a level B1 student who has, at least, a minimum knowledge of the language checked around levB2 of the CEFR.

The method adopted will be the functional communicative approach with the help of authentic linguistic documents such as articles taken from the French press, audio and video linguistic resources produced in an authentic way for a French and / or French-speaking public.
French Language suitability of the Social Research, Security and Crime Policy Study Program involves the acquisition of 3 credits.
Evaluation consists of an oral test that verifies the correctness of the oral production of the topics studied in the classroom based on a preliminary written paper.

There are no different programs between an attender student and a non-attender one, considering the difficulty for the latter to face the studio alone. However, the non-attender student must contact the teacher.
