Extended Syllabus General principles of electrocardiography: identification of main arrhythmias: supraventricular tachyarrhythmias, atrial fibrillation, ventricular tachyarrhythmias, atrioventricular blocks.
General principles of echocardiography: identification of echocardiographic projections and windows; applications to main pathological disorders: valvular heart disease, cardiomyopathy, ischemic heart disease.
General principles of hemodynamics: indications to cardiac catheterization and coronary angiography; applications to main pathological disorders: valvular heart disease, ischemic heart disease.
Interventional cardiology: percutaneous coronary intervention; structural cardiology: TAVI, mitraclip, patent foramen ovale closure, left atrial appendage closure.
General principles of electrophysiology: indications to PMK implantation, transcatheter ablation.
Antithrombotic therapy: main indications for antiplatelet and anticoagulant drugs.

The examination is held in the form of oral and provides an assessment of thirty; the exam is passed with a mark equal to or greater than 18/30. The mark obtained in this discipline averages with the marks of other disciplines in the same Integrated Course.
