Objectives
Contents Airway management, oxygenation and ventilation. Sedation and general anesthesia. Allergies, from the local reaction to anaphylactic shock: prophylaxis, management and therapy. Neurological and Respiratory and cardio-circulatory problems in critically ill patients. BLSD Adult and Pediatric.
Extended Syllabus The program includes anatomy and non-invasive airway management. The tools for the treatment of the unconscious patient and the evaluation scales. The definition of general anesthesia and sedation and respiratory emergencies. The patient with neurological, respiratory and cardiovascular disorders to be subjected to diagnostic imaging. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation issues will be addressed in adult and children.

Collegial evaluation with the other teachers of the Integrated Course
The students' learning test will take place through an oral exam and the final assessment will be expressed in thirtieths. The topics covered by the exam will reflect those covered during teaching and present in the program, developed in a way that leads students to reflect on the issues of the discipline. A correct use of medical terminology and a clear and concise presentation that allow to understand the logical connections between different issues is necessary to pass the exam.
