At the end of the course, the student must know how to planning, in the essential lines, a psychological intervention in the field of community psychology. This implies the knowledge of the main theoretical models, their practical application and the knowledge of the methodologies and tools typical of the discipline. Knowledge and ability to understand At the end of the course the student must know: - identify the most appropriate methodologies and tools for the analysis of the social context - identify objectives of a psychological work - identify evaluation methods and tools Autonomy of judgment At the end of the course the student must know: - understand which are the most appropriate work packages for a social project Communication skills At the end of the course the student must know: - Use the technical language of social planning and spend it on drafting the projects
The course deals with the theoretical and applicative aspects of Community Psychology and deepens the planning techniques of psychosocial interventions. Community psychology: history and specificity of the discipline; the ecological approach and the main theories; the promotion of well-being; psychological, social and community empowerment; sense of community; research methods; action tools of the community psychologist. The planning and evaluation of psychosocial interventions: areas and main planning models; the realization of intervention projects; evaluation methodologies

Lectures and discussion of real cases and projects. In addition, students will be required to deepen the issues dealt with by studying scientific articles deemed of particular interest. The exercises will take place in small groups.
