Basic knowledge of the French language.
Objectives
Contents Reading, listening, speaking and writing activities aimed at expanding linguistic improving the students’ language skills,and at providing insights into extra-linguistic, socio-cultural aspects of the French language. During the training course different types of text will be analyzed as the starting point for reading activities and translation, lexical and grammar analysis .

The program will focus on the revision and consolidation of the main linguistic, morpho-syntactic and textual structures useful for the acquisition of the communicative objectives of the B1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

Teaching Methods Course description
The program will focus on the revision and consolidation of the main linguistic, morpho-syntactic and textual structures useful for the acquisition of the communicative objectives of the B2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
Evaluation methods Verification of learning:
Course grade determination
Ongoing tests during the course for attending students, for non-attending students: oral exam.
The final assessment consists of an oral exam on the entire syllabus and will aim to test and evaluate:
1. Comprehension skills: reading, comprehension and translation of one of the texts proposed during the course.
2. Production skills: oral interaction and oral production aimed at the synthesis and / or criticism of a theme proposed during the course.
Students who demonstrate possessing the required language skills will receive a ‘pass mark’.
