The course on Medical Genetics will deal with topics focused on the study of the genetic basis of the normal and pathological human characters. Topics such as the genetics of congenital diseases, genetics of cancer, genetics of common diseases, reproduction, prenatal diagnosis, neonatal screening will be analyzed.
Particular interest will be devoted to the psychological problems related to the execution of genetic tests and to the management of patients' psychological problems during the genetic counseling
