Contents The course will deal with the neural basis of behavior and mental life: functioning of nerve cells, functional anatomy of the nervous system, organizational and functional mechanisms that allow perceptual functions

Teaching Methods The course has a duration of 64 hours and the contents are presented through lessons in lecture hall, taking advantage of power point slides (made available to the students).
Attendance is not compulsory but strongly recommended.
Evaluation methods Verification of learning:
The assessment of the students' preparation will be performed through a written exam, consisting of 30 multiple choice questions.
The exam topics will reflect those present in the program and the questions will be elaborated in such a way as to require the integration of knowledge and critical thinking. Correct use of the disciplinary lexicon will be necessary.
In this way, the exam, in addition to verifying the knowledge and understanding of the individual topics of the program, will verify the above skills (see Expected learning outcomes).
Optional oral examination in case of sufficient grade at the written test. Possibility of doing two partials at the end of the course.
