As a prerequisite, the students are required a basic of biology, chemistry and physics knowledge.
Objectives
Contents The course deals with the basics functioning of the nervous system, throughout the study of neurobiology, neuroanatomy and neurophysiology necessary to understand the functioning of mind and behavior.

Teaching Methods The course contents are presented through lessons in lecture hall, taking advantage of power point slides (made available to the students), reading and discussion of scientific articles, and video in English to improve their comprehension ability of the language.
Attendance is not compulsory but strongly recommended.
Evaluation methods Verification of learning:
Multiple choice written test with 30 questions and 4-answer options. Oral optional in case of sufficient grade for the test. Possibility of doing two partials at the end of the course.
