Pathogenic action of bacteria and antibacterial drugs.
Fungi: fungal structure, growth, metabolism and reproduction.
Pathogenic action of mycetes and antifungal drugs.
Viruses: size, structure, chemical composition and morphology of the viral particle; organization of the genome (DNA or RNA) and viral classification.
Viral replication, pathogenesis and mode of transmission of viruses.
Antiviral drugs.
Physical and chemical agents in the control of microorganisms: sterilization and disinfection.
