INDUSTRIAL TOXICOLOGY
Heavy metals, asbestos, particulate and nanoparticulate materials: chemical-physical characteristics and role in the etiopathogenesis of occupational diseases in industrial workers. Occupational Exposure Limit Values. Biological monitoring and prevention. Occupational and work-related pathologies from chemical substances present in industrial workplaces. Health surveillance. Teaching Methods The teaching is structured in frontal lessons according to the educational calendar. The lessons foresee a strong interactive component between Teacher and Students.
Attendance is mandatory.
Evaluation methods Verification of learning:
Oral exam: the student must demonstrate his / her preparation by clearly and organized discussing the topics requested by the teacher.
