Objectives
Contents The course aims to provide students with information on the role that the disciplines of organization and corporate responsibility have in the studies on social action and on the company in particular.
In the first part of the course the main topics of business organization will be discussed: i) the main organizational models and how the organizations operate in the different sectors (public, private, industrial and services); ii) the evolution of organizational theories and their role in organizational planning; iii) the tools for organizational intervention and change management with particular reference to the processes of structuring the business networks and internationalization.
With the second part of the course we intend to offer the student the essential notions to verify and maintain the actual suitability of the organizational model adopted by the organization, in order to avoid the arising of the responsibilities provided for by Legislative Decree no. 231/2001. The Authority's exemption from liability postulates three essential requirements of the organizational model: alongside its formal adoption, there must also be effective implementation of the model and its concrete ability to prevent the commission of crimes, excluding organization's guilt. Therefore, will be examined the main issues tackled by the jurisprudence, deriving a map of the actions that organizations must undertake in order to adapt to the claims deriving from the expansion of penal control, also with reference to the cases of adoption of the organizational model post-delictum.
Through the adoption of the case-studies technique, the course aims to provide students with some initial operational elements for intervention in organizations and for the implementation of changes in structural models.
