Objectives
Contents Text and image: topics and forms of discourse relating to Art from the Ancient Times to the Humanistic Era.
The course examines the tradition of the writings on art from the beginning in the Greek world to Vasari, pointing out the elements of continuity and the innovative factors preceding the awareness of the Humanistic Renaissance regarding the criticism of art developed in the Classical world.
