It is necessary to have taken and passed the exams set out in the study plan for the second year of the course, first semester.
Objectives
Contents Lost in care of the person and care givers in various settings: hospital, residential, outpatient, home; Paper or IT tools for information management; Proposals for clinical care pathways for people suffering from chronic skin lesions; Integration process with other professionals for a correct multidisciplinary diagnostic therapeutic care path.
Extended Syllabus Reception of the person with chronic skin lesions in hospital, residential, outpatient and local settings; Use of specific nursing tools, paper or IT, for data collection; Definition of acute and chronic skin lesions; Identification and classification of chronic skin lesions, standardized risk and assessment scales for skin lesions; Healing process and local treatment of acute and chronic wounds; Detection of pain in patients with skin lesions;. Definition, classification and correct use of advanced dressings; Theoretical definition and practical demonstration of compression bandaging of the lower limbs.

The application of the information provided through the discussion of clinical cases in the classroom is expected. Minutes are required certifying 100% attendance at the training meetings.
