The course aims to provide the basic methodological and applicative knowledge of databases development.

- Applying knowledge and understanding
Even if the reference language of the course is MySQL, the course aims to provide students with the tools to understand and use any relational language for databases.

- Laboratory activities: Introduction to MySQL
- Laboratory activities: Some of the basic parts of the MySQ, including data definition.
- Laboratory activities: Data modification operations, and simple SQL queries. More complex MySQL queries, views, and schema modification.
- Laboratory activities: Import and export of data.

Verification of learning:

The exam verifies the students' ability to apply the knowledge provided by the course in order to implement databases in MySQL. The verification of the learning outcomes will be carried out through a project (mandatory) and its oral discussion (mandatory). The final evaluation, expressed in thirtieths, takes into account both the project and its discussion.
