Environment and efficiency: a) limits of the markets, b) markets of property rights as possible solution. Public intervention and efficiency: economic instruments for environmental regulation. Economic instruments for environmental regulation: comparative analysis. Other economic instruments for environmental regulation: refundable deposits and voluntary agreements. Governance of environmental policies: some issues. Efficiency, equity in international environmental contexts. International coordination of environmental regulation. Sustainable development: principles, instruments and applications.
