Objectives
Contents The aim of the course is to provide students with the basis for the study of industrial economics, production and logistics, and supply chains. The teaching fits in with the overall objective of the course of study.

Teaching Methods The course is structured in 48 hours of frontal teaching, including lectures, discussions of case studies, presentation of projects, testimonials. During the course there will be testimonials and seminar interventions by qualified professionals in the sector (company managers, consultants of transport and logistics companies, entrepreneurs active in cross-border businesses), workshop activities and group work. Attendance is optional, recommended, and the final exam will be the same for attending and non-attending students.
Evaluation methods Verification of learning:
Students’ learning of the concepts and tools dealt with in the classroom will also be monitored during the course (through the provision of written tests and the presentation and discussion of case studies). The assessment of the learning is carried out through a written test and a final interview (which can be held only if the written exam is passed). The written test includes three open-ended question (score 0 to 30) and is considered to be passed with a minimum score of 18/30. The interview (three questions) aims to verify the student’s ability to critically analyze the economic and regulatory framework, which constitutes the basis of the international trade of goods, and to provide solutions to specific cases. To notice that there will be one final exam integrated for both parts A and B of the course PRODUZIONE, LOGISTICA, MERCEOLOGIA DOGANALE. During the exam, written tests and discussion of case studies, students’ ability to apply the acquired knowledge is verified in order to be able to interpret and comprehend in a broad and structured way current problems and complex situations, and to elaborate companies’ strategies with a strong focus on the supranational dimension.
