Objectives Contents The program includes topics in maternal-fetal medicine and obstetric pathology. In the field of maternal-fetal medicine, the main medical pathologies that can complicate pregnancy will be treated. Congenital fetal pathologies, infectious diseases and fetal growth disorders will also be treated. In the field of obstetric pathology, all pathologies related to pregnancy, childbirth and post- partum will be treated .
Extended Syllabus Abortion; Fetal well-being surveillance techniques (ultrasound, Doppler velocimetry, cardiotocography); Infections in pregnancy (toxoplasma, cytomegalovirus, rubella, chickenpox, viral hepatitis, HIV); Induction of fetal lung maturity; Diabetes in pregnancy; Congenital pathology of the fetus; Hypertension in pregnancy; Fetal growth restriction; Twin pregnancy; Labor induction; Maternal-fetal isoimmunization ; Preterm birth; Premature rupture of membranes; Prophylaxis of neonatal group B streptococcus infection; Heart disease in pregnancy; Thyroid disease in pregnancy; Autoimmune diseases in pregnancy; Maternal and fetal thrombocytopenia.

Teaching Methods The teaching is structured in 30 hours of frontal teaching, divided into lessons of 2 or 3 hours according to the academic calendar.

Oral exam. Written test with multiple choice quiz. The assessment will be expressed by a vote out of thirty.
