Contents The course aims to provide knowledge of the epidemiology of the main infectious diseases and the direct and indirect prophylaxis of infectious diseases.

Compulsory and optional vaccinations: vaccination schedule
Etiology, epidemiology and prophylaxis of infectious diseases:
- mainly mediated by food,
- predominantly faecal-oral,
- predominantly by air;
- zoonoses;
- predominantly parenteral spread
Epidemiology and prophylaxis of the following infectious diseases
- Influence
- Meningitis c.s.e
- Tetanus
- Viral hepatitis A, B and C
- AIDS
- Diseases of the TORCH complex

Teaching Methods The teaching is structured in frontal lessons of 2-3 hours according to the teaching calendar. The lessons include a strong interactive component between Teacher and Students.
Attendance is compulsory.
Evaluation methods Verification of learning:
Oral exam: the student must demonstrate his preparation by dealing in a clear and organized way with the topics requested by the teacher.
The evaluation will be carried out using votes in thirtieth.
