Objectives
Contents The course analyzes the right to the protection of personal data and the rules governing the processing of information referring directly or indirectly to the person and which constitute an essential component of his social identity.
Extended Syllabus The right to privacy and the right to the protection of personal data.
The general definitions of Regulation (EU) no. 679 of 2016.
The general principles and conditions of legitimacy of the treatment.
The particular categories of personal data.
Transparency in the processing of personal data.
The subjects of the treatment: owner, manager, authorized and D.P.O.
The rights of the interested party.
The right to be forgotten.
The principle of accountability.
The responsibility profiles of the Internet Service Provider.

Oral examination.
The exam will be aimed at verifying the understanding of the legal institutions covered by the program, the conscious use of legal concepts and the ability to critically analyze the impact of the law in social relations. The assessment of the interview will be carried out taking into consideration: the knowledge of institutional profiles and the jurisprudential guidelines; the ability to make connections between the different parts of the program; the ability to develop critical arguments; the exposure articulation; the accuracy of the exposure.
