Objectives

Select building materials in relation to their use;
- survey the territory, vacant areas and buildings, choosing the most appropriate methodologies and instruments and processing the data obtained
- apply the methodologies for the design, assessment and construction of buildings and structures of modest size, in non-seismic areas, also dealing with issues related to energy saving in buildings
- use suitable tools for the graphic restitution of projects and surveys;
- protect, safeguard and enhance territorial and environmental resources;
- carry out surveying operations in the private and public sphere, limited to the building and territory;

Methods of Provision

Conventional

Teaching Methods

Lessons will be interactive to encourage student involvement. Exercises useful for the written test and listening activities will be carried out.
In the slides, made available to students on the Microsoft platform, words belonging to the specific terminology of the field of study are highlighted. Students will also be provided with useful information on pronunciation by referring to the IPA to enable them to acquire the autonomous ability to pronounce words correctly.
